ROLLING CAN GET YOU FAR...

I remember years ago when watching Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, for those too young to know what I am talking about, that is a classic Italian movie that every single person on the planet should watch. In this movie there is a scene where the 2 main characters take a bicycle ride, with a sublime melody as a background...Anyway, I am bringing this up because I fell in love with bicycles that day. I dreamed of biking around like that around my dusty little town.

In New York going on a bicycle is not the safest, everyone is rushing when they drive and the bike lines are not popular, however I decided to buy a one that I never used.

But Denver is a different story... Here bicycles prevail and the population loves outdoors activities, looking good, working out and what a better way of doing all of that than going to your favorite places on a bicycle.

Denver has approx. 850 miles of paved off-road trails around the city that take you to dozens of amazing touristic attractions, malls and parks.

Moreover, if biking around the city is not your cup of tea, most parks in the city offer trails with beautiful views like Wash Park, Cherry Creek State Park, City Park or Sloan Lake Park. Check out the biking activities around town.

In general, the Auto drivers are very respectful with the bikers.

Also, it is very easy to rent a bicycle. The service is called B-cycle and you can find them pretty much everywhere. They offer memberships for a year, a month, a week or simply for a little while any day. Biking is a way to enjoy the 300 sunny days a year Denver has to offer.
